A construction accident in a private residence has resulted in an individual being lifestarred to the University of Kansas Hospital, with what is described as a significant extremity injury.
Larry Couchman, Director of Emergency and EMS Services for Mercy Regional Health Center, indicates his crews responded to the accident, at 125 Fourwinds Court a little before nine Thursday morning.
While the name of the individual has not been released, Couchman confirmed an ambulance took the individual to Mercy, with the patient stablized before being lifestarred to Kansas City.
