With Big 12 play on tap for this weekend, the K-State baseball team will host Northern Colorado for a two-game mid-week series on Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon.  The 9-5 Cats are looking to build off a 10-4 victory last Saturday to cap a series against #21 Cal Poly.

Jake Doller will get the start against the Bears after earning the win one week ago against Niagara.  He gave up only an unearned run on four hits in five innings with six strikeouts in a 10-2 victory over the Purple Eagles.

K-State first baseman Shane Conlon has a chance Tuesday night to tie Carter Jurica for the longest hitting streak to open a season in the Brad Hill era.  Conlon is on a 14-game hitting streak, with a .357 average and three home runs.

K-State and Northern Colorado will get their series underway Tuesday night with a 6:30pm first pitch.  The BD4 Distributing pregame show starts at 6:00 on KMAN.
