    A burglary in February is under investigation.

    Riley County Police told reporters on Monday that a burglary report was filed with them on Friday afternoon. The victim, Sirui Zhao (23) told police that sometime between February 6th and March 6th of this year, a person unknown to him entered his home located in the 800 block of Sunset Ave and removed at 55 inch television and a X box game system.

    The total loss in this case is $1,000 and police are investigating.

    Police responding to a call at a house party make a drug arrest.

    At around 1:15 Saturday afternoon, Riley County police responded to a report of underage drinking at a residence in the 600th block of Vattier. Upon investigation, they arrested  K-State student Drew Smadling (20) on multiple drug charges including possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, no Kansas drug stamp, possession of marijuana , unlawful use of a drivers license, and minor in consumption of alcohol.

    Bond was set at $7,500

    An altercation at an Aggieville bar leads to an arrest.

    Riley County police told reporters on Monday that  Jasmine Ramerez (24) of Garden City, was taken into custody late Saturday afternoon after she struck an employee at Drinx bar with a beer bottle.

    The employee, Ryan Nuessen (22) went to Mercy Regional Health Center for his injury, and recieved several stitches to close the wound on his head.

    Ramerez was released on a $5,000 bond.

    A Kansas State University Student is arrrested after a traffic stop.

    Kevin Decock (19) of Haymaker Hall was taken into custody at around 9:56 p.m. Saturday after he was stopped on the 500 block of 12th Street.

    Decock was charged with DUI, interference with a law enforcement officer, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, no Kansas drug tax stamp, and I.D. fraud.

    Bond was set at $9,000

    An anonymous call leads to a drug arrest.

    Riley County Police told reporters on Monday that they received an anonymous call late Saturday night that there were people smoking marijuana in the 2400 block of Hobbs in Manhattan.

    Upon investigation, police arrested Samuel Maulin (20) of Emporia, and charged him with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug Paraphernalia.

    Bond was set at $5,000

    A belligerent man is taken into custody after attempting to attack a police officer.

    Riley County police told reporters on Monday that they responded to a report Saturday night of an intoxicated man yelling obscenities at passersby near the 1000 block of 12th Street. Upon arrival, police contacted Rodwrick Webber (51)  of the 6000th block of Patrige Ln.

    Webber became aggressive and aggressively lunged at several firefighters who had also responded. After being detained by police, Webber then attempted to bite the face of one of the officers.

    No injuries were reported, and Webber’s bond was set at $5,000.

    A open container leads to a drug arrest.

    At around 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Carlos Rizo (19)  of Wichita was observed holding a clear cup holding alcohol near the 1200 block of Moro. Upon investigation, police discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession.

    Rizo was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony and misdemeanour possession of drug paraphernalia, and minor in possession of alcohol.

    Rizo remains confined on a $10,000 bond.

    A Nebraska man was arrested over the weekend on a variety of charges steming from a call to a house party.

    Police told reporters on Monday that they responded to a call of minors drinking at a home located on the 800 block of Bluemont in the early morning hours on Sunday. When officers contacted Nicholas Palacio (18) of Omaha, he responded by pushing one officer and running away.

    Palacio was caught after a short foot chase one block away. He was arrested and charged with battery of a law enforcement officer,interfering with a law enforcement officer, and minor in consumption of alcohol.

    Bond was set at $5,000

    Two men and a woman were arrested over the weekend after being caught smoking marijuana near city park.

    A Riley County police foot patrol was patrolling near city party around 1:12 a.m. Sunday morning when they detected an odor of marijuana . Upon investigation, they discovered three people in a car smoking.

    Arrested was  Thomas Wikoff (27) of Colorado,  Skyler Gilbert (22) of Salina, and  Anthony Russo (28), also of Salina.

    Wikoff was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, to charges of not having a Kansas drug tax stamp, felony and misdemeanour possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana , and firearm possession. his bond was set at $15,000

    Gilbert and Russo were each charged with marijuana possession and their bond was set at $1,000.
