By KMAN Staff on April 2, 2013 K-State Sports

K-State senior guard Brittany Chambers has been tabbed an honorable mention all-American by the Associated Press.

    She’s the first all-American at K-State since 2009, and the sixth all-time.

She joins the likes of Shalee Lehning, Kimberly Dietz, Kendra Wecker, Nicole Ohlde, and Andria Jones.
Chambers is the only player in Big 12 history to score 750 or more points (762; 21.2 ppg), grab 250 or more rebounds (271; 7.5 rpg) and dish out 100 or more assists (118; 3.3 apg) in a single season.

K-State will host Utah on Wednesday night at 7:00pm in the semifinals of the WNIT.  SportsRadio 1350 KMAN will have the pregame at 6:30 from the K-State Sports Network.
