    Fort Riley event
U.S. Army Brigadier General Donald MacWillie addressed an overflow, standing room only, crowd at Fort Riley’s “community listening session.”

Congressman Tim Huelskamp (R-Kansas) issued the following statement: “Although votes in Washington prevented me from participating in the public hearing at Fort Riley, I am pleased Mr. Steven Howe — Director of the First Congressional District office staff – was able to attend on my behalf. I wish to thank the countless citizens who joined state and local elected officials to make sure the Army is keenly aware of the tremendous support Fort Riley enjoys from area civilians.” The photograph below was taken at the hearing. Left to right: Mark Edwards (Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army), Brig. General Donald MacWillie (Assistant Division Commander for Support), and Steven Howe (Rep. Huelskamp’s District Director).
