Two local schools were on lockout for about an hour Tuesday morning.
Around 11:15 Tuesday morning, Riley County police responded to the 2500 block of Candlecrest Circle, which is near Frank Bergman Elementary and Susan B. Anthony Middle School. According to USD 383 Communications Coordinator Michele Jones the all clear came in shortly after noon.
Riley County Public Information Officer, Matt Droge indicated the original call was for a subject brandishing a fire arm in the area, toward a victim. Officers responded to the assault to investigate and notified both schools.
