By KMAN Staff on April 29, 2013 Local News

Cadet 1A Riley County Cadet received a visit from U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan) when he took trip to the United States Military Academy at West Point.

This trip had him speaking to a political science class and visiting with a group of Kansan Cadets.

One such cadet was Shelbi Doehling, of Manhattan, who is the daughter of John Doehling, Assistant Police Chief with the Riley County Police Department, and Diane Doehling, who also works at the RCPD.
