    Construction To Cause Traffic Delays

    0
By KMAN Staff on May 24, 2013 Local News, Manhattan

Shilling Construction Company on behalf of Riley County will begin milling asphalt Friday, May 24th on Rosencutter Road, milling will continue on Moehlman Road and South Manhattan Avenue.  An asphalt overlay will begin the week of May 28th and continue through June 5th on Rosencutter Road, Moehlman Road, Henton Road and South Manhattan Ave.

The road will be reduced to one lane during the construction process.  Traffic will be allowed through the projects, but drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes.  Be advised fresh asphalt oil will be applied – take alternate routes when possible.  The schedule may change due to weather delays.

If you have questions concerning this project, contact the Riley County Public Works Department, at 6215 Tuttle Creek Blvd., Manhattan, Kansas or call 785-539-2981.
