Several local law enforcement agencies are reportedly culminating a complex investigation Wednesday, with a news conference scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
A media release just before noon from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation indicates Riley County Police, the Geary County Attorney’s Office, Junction City Police Department, Geary County Sheriff’s Office, Grandview Plaza Police Department, and the KBI have been working on a complex operation. Officers including tactical units have been utilized to secure several locations which are the subject of search warrants in Manhattan, Ogden, and Junction City. Investigators are currently searching locations and conducting interviews.
