OLATHE, Kan. (AP) A 33-year-old man is being held on $1 million bail in the 2010 death of a Kansas liquor store owner.
Johnson County authorities say the man is a suspect in the May 2010 death of Gerry Grovenburg, 61, of Spring Hill, who operated the liquor store in Shawnee for 35 years.
The Kansas City Star reports the man was arrested May 17 in Arkansas, where he was living in Blytheville, just south of the Missouri Bootheel. His first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
