These thefts are believed to have started around April 20th at a construction site North of Highway 24 on Green Valley Road.  They continue and Sheriff Detectives believe that the same suspects may be responsible for these burglaries.  One update on these cases is that one of the stolen vehicles from, a  2005 Chevrolet HD 2500 4X4,  maroon in color was recovered in Topeka on May 12th, by the Topeka Police Department.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to note any unusual activity at construction sites after hours.  We also ask that anyone with information on these burglaries is urged to contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at 785-457-3353.  A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for these burglaries.
