    West Manhattan Power Outage Update

    A power outage occurred on Manhattan’s west side at approximately 10:45am this morning. Westar Energy spokesman Nick Bundy tells KMAN that approximately 3,400 customer were affected.

     According to the Westar Energy outage reports on their website, as of right now that number has dropped tremendously with reports of just a few isolated outages.

    KMAN will continue to pursue information on the origin of the outage.
