Riley County Police Department Public Information Officer, Matt Droge reported Wednesday morning that no reports have been filed on this incident at this time.
He mentioned there are many times reports of shots fired and this ends up being the outcome. This is usually because there were no shots fired, or there was no evidence of shots being fired.

Riley County police are investigating a report of shots fired in the Stonemont Drive area near Highland Ridge on the west side of Manhattan off Scenic Drive.
Public Information Officer Mat Droge tells KMAN the report came in about 10:30 Tuesday morning. Droge indicates police are investigating whether there any injuries or if there were any shots actually fired. He adds they have not yet located any suspects or weapons.
While Droge says it is not believed the public is in danger, the usual precautions are being taken and emergency vehicles are in the area.
