    East Chestnut Partial Closure

    Union Pacific Railroad will be repairing the roadway portion of East Chestnut starting Tuesday, July 16, 2013 Beginning at 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

    East Chestnut will be closed to through traffic with detours being posted. The detour route will be via Washington Street via Ash Street and Washington Street Via 6th Street and East Street. Note: Full access to all businesses within the affected will be provided areas via the detours which will be posted.

    The work involved includes repairing the asphalt roadway work which was worked on last fall, as a part of the railroad crossings, in order to improve the ride ability of this road segment.
