The Manhattan Manko Senior 17ers are one win away from the state tournament with an 11-0 victory on Tuesday night over the Leavenworth Diamond Jaxx in their zone tournament. Dustan Whipple led Manko with three hits, and Josh Mullin knocked in three runs. Leavenworth was held to just three hits. The Senior 17ers will face either Atchsion or the Diamond Jaxx in the finals on Wednesday night, and would have to lose twice to not make the state tournament, which will also be in Leavenworth.
