On day two of the NBA Summer League, former K-State standout Rodney McGruder saw 19 minutes of action and scored 5 points on 2-5 shooting and grabbed two rebounds in a 79-78 loss on Monday to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

MHS grad Jackie Carmichael did not see action in the Miami Heat’s 93-86 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

Carmichael and McGruder will square off on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00pm central as the Heat will take on the Magic.

K-State’s all-time leading shot blocker Jordan Henriquez suited up for the Houston Rockets, but did not see action in the team’s summer league opener.  The Rockets will face the Utah Jazz at 2:00pm today on Tuesday.
