    Ft. Riley Soldier Arrested On Multiple Sex Charges

    At 9:50 a.m. Friday, Junction City Police executed a search warrant at 1116 Country Club Lane in connection with a three week investigation into a reported case of unlawful sexual relations with a 15 year old female.

    Detectives arrested 37 year old Ivan O. Sherren, a Ft. Riley soldier, on charges of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child, Sodomy, and Electronic Solicitation. Mr. Sherren was confined at the Geary County Jail and held without bond pending his First Appearance in Geary County District Court. The investigation into the matter is continuing according to Sgt. Trish Giordano of the Junction City Police Department’s Investigations Division in a news release issued Friday afternoon by JCPD.
