The Kansas State women’s basketball team continued their solid play to open up International play in Italy with an 80-32 on Monday afternoon against the Vicenza All-Stars. The Wildcats were never threatened in this game, holding a 12 point lead at halftime and outscoring their opponent 27-3 in the third quarter to blow the game wide open.

Katya Leick was the game’s most valuable player by posting a huge game with 27 points and 24 rebounds including nine on the offensive end. The team as a whole pulled in 72 rebounds with 42 coming on the defensive end of the floor. Haley Texada was solid again posting 15 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Bri Craig knocked down three treys and notched 13 points in the ball game.

Kansas State will conclude its three-game tour through Italy on Saturday night, as the Wildcats will face ASD Bull Basket in Rome.
