KSU-Ole Miss To Air on ESPN2

By John Kurtz on August 13, 2013 K-State Sports, Sports

K-State’s Big 12/SEC Challenge game against Ole Miss will be show on ESPN2 and tip off at 8 P.M. on Thursday, December 5th inside Bramlage Coliseum.

All ten of the match ups in the challenge will air on the ESPN family of networks. This is the fifth scheduled appearance so far during the 2013-14 season for K-State on ESPN2.

Ole Miss had one of it’s best seasons in school history last year, winning 27 games and advancing to the NCAA tournament’s third round. They also won the SEC tournament championship. The Rebels are still in limbo on whether or not their star, guard Marshall Henderson, will be available this season. Henderson was suspended indefinitely last month. He averaged 20.1 points per game last season to lead the Rebels.

This will be the fourth all-time meeting between K-State and Ole Miss. The Rebels have won all three previous games, including an 86-74 win in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off in 2009.
