The Riley County Police Department informed reporters Monday morning about an incident we reported earlier.
The police said they took a report of a rape early Sunday morning that occurred in the city limits of Manhattan.
It is unknown at this time whether the victim or suspect knew each other. No arrests have been made.

Preliminary reports are continuing to come into the KMAN news room as our reporters find out more information on an incident which occurred on Saturday night on the Manhattan campus of Kansas State University.
Riley County police confirmed the incident, and sources say a portion of the campus was taped off with investigators on the scene.
Riley County Police, and the Kansas State University police department have not released any further information at this time.
