    Burglary Reported at Pott. Co. Landfill

    The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary at the County Landfill, located at 8585 Wheaton Rd, (rural Louisville KS) on September 20th, 2013. The reporting party, an employee of the landfill discovered that unknown suspect-s gained entry to the building and had ran-sacked it. The building had been checked by a Deputy just after 9:00 p.m. on the evening of the 19th and was not believed to have been burglarized at that time. It was discovered just after 7:30 a.m. on the morning of the 20th. Damage to the building was estimated at 250.00 dollars. A small amount of change and cash was taken from the building. The suspect in this case did leave a note at the Landfill saying they were sorry.
