Dakota Kaufman posted 11 kills and K-State earned their first three-set victory of the season, defeating Southeast Missouri 25-23, 25-17, and 25-15 on Friday afternoon at Ahearn Fieldhouse in the K-State Invitational.  Kaitlynn Pelger and Katie Brand each registered their third double-double of the season.  Pelger finish with 10 kills and 10 digs, and also served up a career-high five aces.  Brand had 40 assists and 10 digs.  Taylor Johnson led K-State (4-0) with four blocks.  Emily Coon and Colleen Yarber each killed 8 balls for Southeast Missouri (2-2).

K-State volleyball returns to the court on Friday night against Southern Illinois at 7:30pm at Ahearn Fieldhouse.  The Salukis are coached by former K-State assistant Justin Ingram, who was a part of Suzie Fritz’s original staff in 2001, and worked under her for eight seasons.  Pregame begins at 7:00 at kstatesports.com, or on a tape delayed basis on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN after Manhattan High football.
