    Fatal Accident

    MILTONVALE, Kan. (AP) A California man has been killed in a two-vehicle accident in north-central Kansas.

    The Highway Patrol says Christopher D. Sukup, 24, of Anderson, Calif., died in the crash late Sunday south of Miltonvale.

    The patrol says that Sukup was driving an SUV and trying to pass another vehicle when he collided with an oncoming car. Sukup died at the scene and his passenger was injured.

    Miltonvale is located in Cloud County, about 50 miles north of Salina.
