    Two Arrested In Connection With Burroughs Murder

    As a result of an ongoing investigation into the murder of 68 year-old John Burroughs of Manhattan, the Riley County Police Department Investigations Division made two arrests at approximately 10:30 Wednesday night.

    Christina Love, 49, of Manhattan and James McKenith, 33, of Manhattan,  were each arrested and charged with first degree murder.

    The arrests, in connection with September 8th homicide, were made at the Riley County Police Department and both subjects are being held at the Riley County Jail on a one million dollar bond.

    The investigation into this case is ongoing.

    RCPD made the arrests with assistance from the Kansas City Kansas Police Department, Junction City Police Department, and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
