The Manhattan High girls golf team is once again off to the 6A state meet with a runner-up finish at regionals on Monday afternoon. The Tribe shot 331 as a team at Clapp Park in Wichita, nine shots behind regional champ Washburn Rural. Lawrence Free State also qualified for state in 3rd.
Kylie McCarthy shot a 76 to take the second place medal while sister Kelsey McCarthy shot an 82 to bring home the 4th place medal. Hannah Devane tied for 9th shooting an 86.
The 6A girls state golf meet is next Monday at Buffalo Dunes in Garden City.
