Less than a week after announcing his intentions, a newly announced candidate in the 2014 KansasGOP primary for the U-S Senate will be visiting Manhattan.

Dr. Milton Wolf announced his intentions to run against incumbent Senator Pat Roberts Tuesday.

The Flint HIlls Tea Party just learned Dr. Wolf will be able to attend the group’s regular monthly meeting at the Manhattan Public Library Saturday morning (October 12) at 9:30.

Dr. Wolf is a board certified radiologist, author, Washington Times columnist, and Fox News contributor, and he has gained some attention early in this campaign of being President Obama’s conservative cousin in Kansas.Wolf was born and raised in Lyons in central Kansas. He now practices radiology in the Kansas City area and has been an outspoken critic of ObamaCare.

Riley County Commissioner Ron Wells will also be present at the meeting to discuss the county’s proposed building commission.
