Kaylee and Lanie Page already have won a 4A state basketball title for Wamego, and now they’ll have a chance to add a state tennis title to their trophy case. The Page sisters are 26-0 this season as a doubles team after winning the regional championship on Saturday over a duo from McPherson, Camry Holle and Emily Ediger, 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 (7-5).

The 4A state meet is this Friday and Saturday in Winfield.

The Manhattan High duo of Kristen Fraley and Cathy Lei claimed a 6A regional title on Saturday in Topeka. Fraley and Lei beat Washburn Rural’s Mikaela Steinagel and Darby Hirsch 6-1, 6-4.

The 6A state meet is Friday and Saturday in Wichita.
