    Updated Tuesday morning:

    Riley County Police released details Tuesday morning regarding a vehicle striking a local business Monday afternoon.

    Police reports indicate at approximately 1:20PM a 1997 Lincoln Towncar being driven by 82 year old Eleanor Deibler of Manhattan collided into the “The Eye Doctors” business located at 3012 Anderson Avenue.

    The front entry area of the business recieved extensive damage. In addition to the business being damaged, a vehicle that was parked within the parking lot of the business was also struck and damaged.

    No injuries were reported. The accident investigation is still on-going at this time.

    The Eye Doctors Optometrists at 3012 Anderson Avenue had an unexpected visitor Monday afternoon as a vehicle made its way through the building. Tuesday’s Riley County police incident report indicates the accident occurred at about 1:20 in the afternoon and the accident is listed as a non-injury case.

    We have yet to receive any additional information as Riley County Police indicated Monday further details wouldn’t be available until the regular web update Tuesday morning.
