The USA Today named K-State senior safety Ty Zimmerman a second team all-American on Thursday. The Junction City native is an all-American for the second straight season after receiving second team honors in 2012 from CBS Sports.com.
Zimmerman logged 69 tackles in 10 games in 2013 to go along with three tackles for loss and three interceptions, two of which he took back for touchdowns.
K-State will battle Michigan in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl on Saturday, December 28th at 9:15pm.
