Wamego’s Kaylee Page and Manhattan’s Darby Price and Par McNair are among eight Kansas girls basketball players to earn a McDonald’s All-American nomination.

Page has signed to play college basketball next season at Nebraska and has led the Red Raiders to a 6-0 start this year after helping the Lady Raiders win the 4A state tournament a season ago.

Price and McNair are off to a 4-1 start with Manhattan this season. Price is averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds per game so far this season in her third year as a starter for the Indians. McNair Manhattan’s starting point guard and dishes out nearly five assists per game.

Future K-State Wildcat Shaelyn Martin of Salina Central is also a nominee.

The final McDonald’s All-American teams of 24 boys and 24 girls will be announced January 29th.
