    MHS Standout Earns Spot In Shrine Bowl

    Brandon Nowlin

    Brandon Nowlin, a senior at Manhattan High earned a spot in the upcoming 2014 Shrine Bowl. Nowlin has started at Center for the Tribe each of the last two seasons. This season he was named first team All-Centennial League.

    Other players from the Centennial league to make the roster are Emporia High’s Parker Bass, Washburn Rural’s Earl Mariner, Hayden High’s Xavi Ramos, Topeka High’s Austin Tillman, Shawnee Heights’ Tyson Toelkes and Junction City’s Semaj Johnson.

    Other notable players, Dailin Kruger of Silver Lake, J.T. Rosine of Centralia and Dustin Rottinghaus of B&B.

    The 2014 Shrine Bowl will be played on July 26th from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS.
