    Tribe Wrestling Coach Earns 100th Win

    Last night the MHS wrestling team was on the road at the Clay Center Dual. The Tribe was dominate and came out of the dual victorious by a final score of 64-6. Not only did the Tribe improve to 9-5 this season, it was also head coach Robert Gonzales’ 100th dual win at MHS.

    Prior to the start of this season Coach Gonzales in eight seasons has compiled a record of 91-29 in dual competition. Overall in his 27 year coaching career, Gonzales has compiled a record of 271-121.

    MHS is at the Salina South Invitational this Saturday for an eleven team wrestling tournament including league rivals Junction City, Topeka High and Norman High School of Norman, Oklahoma in the meet.
