The City of Junction City has declared a Traffic Snow Emergency effective midnight Monday until further notice.
Junction City declared the emergency in order to clear the streets in a safe and effective manner. Projected snow storm accumulation is (8”-10”), and will primarily fall from midnight Monday until 4 p.m. Tuesday.
All vehicles parked on signed/posted emergency snow routes must be removed within 2 hours after notice of the Traffic Snow Emergency. Any vehicle parked on an emergency snow route after the two-hour grace period may be removed to a place of safety. The vehicle may not be recovered until the towing and storage charge are paid in full by the person claiming the vehicle.
