    Junction City Drug Bust

    junctioncitygearycountydrugtaskforceThe Junction City-Geary County Drug Operations Group, with assistance from the Kansas Highway Patrol, Junction City/Geary County SWAT, and local uniformed law enforcement officers, executed two search warrants Wednesday at 1919 Northwind Drive Lot #2, and 1501 Dean St., in Junction City.
    As a result, officers arrest two Junction City men for myriad of drug-related crimes.
    Steven J. Parks (28) and Matthew Redding (35) were both arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, Felony Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.The Drug Operations Group seized marijuana with an estimated street value of $43,000 and a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban.Both men were confined at the Geary County Detention Center pending their first appearance in the Geary County District Court.
