    K-State Rolls Thru Air Force for 11th Win in a Row

    Mitch Meyer had three hits and Tanner DeVinny knocked in four runs as K-State ran their winning streak to 11 games with a 17-2 victory on Tuesday night over Air Force.  The Cats scored 12 runs in the first four innings against the Falcons, including a four-run third and a five-run fifth.
    Nate Griep (1-0) earned his first win as a Wildcat, as the redshirt freshman went five innings, giving up two runs on six hits with five strikeouts.  Trent Monaghan (0-2) took the loss for Air Force after giving up 11 runs, 10 earned, on nine hits in three and a third innings.
    K-State and Air Force will conclude their two-game series at Tointon Family Stadium on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00pm.  The BD4 Distributing/Cary Company pregame show begins at 2:30 on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN.
