Kivett Big 12 Player of the Week Again

    0
By John Kurtz on March 31, 2014 K-State Sports, Sports

For the second time this season, K-State’s Ross Kivett is the Big 12 player of the week.

Kivett hit .588 (10-for-17) with three doubles, a triple and a home run while racking up seven RBI in four games during the week. He hit for the cycle in a 12-6 win over Nebraska on Wednesday, the first Wildcat to do so since 1997.

He had multiple hits in all three of the games this past weekend against Creighton in Omaha to help lead the Wildcats to a series win.

Kivett led the Big 12 in nine different offensive categories last week.

K-State travels to Papillion, Neb. tomorrow for a midweek game with the Omaha Mavericks. Pregame coverage on KMAN starts at 6:00 with the first pitch to follow at 6:30.
