The Kansas Basketball Coaches’ Association named six area girls to their all-state teams.  Manhattan High senior Darby Price Darby Pricewas tabbed first team all-state after a stellar four-year career, and Indian teammate Caroline Ballard received honorable mention following her junior campaign.  Wamego sisters Kaylee and Lanie Page led the Lady Raiders to a 4A state runner-up finish to back up a state title run in 2013, and both were picked first team all-state.  Riley County finished 21-2 this season, and senior Madison Vargo was chosen 3A first team all-state, while fellow Falcon senior Katelyn Thomson got honorable mention.
Price, Page and Vargo were also selected to play in the KBCA all-star games on June 28th in Topeka.  The girls game will tip off at 5:00, followed by the boys contest at 7:00 at Lee Arena on the campus of Washburn University.
