A St. Mary’s man entered a plea of no contest Thursday in Pottawatomie County District court to distribution of methamphetamine. Samuel Greidanus was then found guilty, with a sentencing set for April 24th. He was also advised he will have a duty to register pursuant to the offender registration act.
Greidanus was arrested in July of 2012 during a traffic stop in Wamego. He initially was taken into custody for driving while suspended. However a Shawnee County Deputy and drug dog were requested to respond to the scene and a search warrant was obtained, with meth seized from the vehicle.
