A Junction City man who recently entered a plea to attempted computer crime and conspiracy to commit theft has had his probation revoked. Phillip Neu was in Geary County District Court Monday and is now in the custody of the Department of Corrections for the probation violation.
Neu’s most recent case involved a gift card scheme with the Dillon’s in Junction City listed as a victim, with $40, 000 involved. His sentencing is set for April 28th. He could serve more than five years in prison for the two felony charges.
Neu’s probation was in connection with a previous residential burglary conviction last October, with the theft of a dozen guns from a residence. He was granted probation over the state’s objection.
