By KMAN Staff on March 12, 2014 Riley County

stock_police_tapeDetectives with the Riley County Police Department, along with agents from the Department of Corrections State Parole Office, conducted an investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs in the Riley County area on Tuesday. Police issued a press release Wednesday morning that shared details about three coinciding arrests.

The drug investigation led to a search of a residence at 230 N. Walnut in Ogden.  Terrance Estes (48) of Manhattan, and Amanda Bluthardt (34) of Ogden, were both arrested for drug related offenses.
Estes was arrested for sale or distribution of stimulants, possession of paraphernalia used to grow or distribute marijuana, and unlawful possession of a hallucinogen.  His bond was set at $20,000.
Bluthardt was charged with possessing opiates, opium or narcotic drugs and possession of paraphernalia used to grow or distribute marijuana.  Her bond was set at $15,000.
Further investigation led officers to execute a search warrant at 6030 Tuttle Terrace, #30 in Manhattan.  As a result of this, Christopher Russo (46), of Manhattan, was arrested for possession of opiates, opium, or narcotic drugs, unlawful possession of a hallucinogen, and possession of paraphernalia to enter drugs into the human body.  His bond was set at $10,000.
Methamphetamine, marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia used for distribution were seized during both investigations, as well as $3,000 in U.S. currency.
