Ross Kivett and R.J. Santigate each pounded out three hits as K-State swept the season series from Wichita State with a 10-4 victory on Tuesday  night at Eck Stadium.  The Cats scored five runs in the fourth and fifth innings, and added another five in the seventh and eighth.
Shane Conlon, Blair DeBord, and Carter Yagi each knocked in a pair of runs for the Cats.  Jake Fromson (2-1) earned the win by throwing three innings, giving up a run on a hit and two walks.  He struck out three.  Jordan Floyd, Jordan Witcig, Jared Moore and Ethan Landon finished the game in relief.
Shocker lead-off man Daniel Kihle led the team with two hits, and Casey Gillaspie hit his 13th homer of the season in the 8th inning.  Kris Gardner (1-4) gave up five runs on eight hits and three hits to take the loss.
The Cats now will host Big 12 co-leader Oklahoma State this weekend.  First pitch on Friday night at Tointon Family Stadium will be at 6:30pm and coverage begins at 6:00 from the K-State Sports Network on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN.
