For the second time in as many days, K-State announces they will play an SEC team in men’s basketball.
The Cats will travel to Knoxville on Saturday, December 6th to face the Tennessee Volunteers at Thompson-Boling Arena as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge. The Big 12 went 7-3 against the SEC last season in the series, with K-State holding off Ole Miss 61-58.

The Cats revealed earlier this week that they’ll host Georgia at Bramlage Coliseum on New Year’s Eve. They could potentially see Missouri in the Maui Invitational, and rumors abound K-State will play another SEC foe and former Big 12 rival, Texas A&M, at the Sprint Center.
