KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP)   The game between the New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals scheduled for Monday night has been postponed because of rain.

The game is scheduled to be made up on August 25th, which was previously an off day for both teams.

The Royals will now open a two-game series against the Cleveland Indians.  First pitch will be at 7:10pm on Tuesday night, and pregame begins at 6:30 on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN from the Royals Radio Network.  Right hander Jason Vargas gets the start for KC against the Indians’ Corey Kluber.
