A-44 year-old man who has served more than half of his life in prison has been released on parole. John Moss had been serving time since a 1990 second degree murder case in Riley County.Moss had a public comment session and parole hearing earlier this year, and Kansas Department of Corrections records indicate he was paroled in-state on August 13th.
Moss was sentenced in July of 1990 and most recently had been held in the Hutchinson Central Correctional Facility. His current location is listed as Reno County.
