    A separate news release regarding a drug-related arrest is filed under a separate heading on the website.

    A 41-year-old Manhattan man faces two warrants for failure to appear from Geary County. Richard Jackson was arrested on Wednesday afternoon at about 2:40  while at the Riley County Police Department. Jackson’s bond was set at $10,000.
    And Riley County Police arrested Timothy Suderman, 43, of Manhattan for criminal threat late Wednesday morning.  Suderman was taken into custody while at the Riley County Police Department on the warrant for criminal threat, with a bond of $7,000. The warrant stemmed from an incident in September of this year.

    Riley County Police filed a report involving a burglary in the 700 block of Fairman Drive in Manhattan after 65 year old Donna Weisbender of Manhattan reported items from a fire proof safe were removed from her home. The total estimated loss was unavailable at the time of this report, however it is believed that several thousands of dollars worth of items were taken.
    The items included collectibles and jewelry. Those with information on this crime are asked to contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

    A report documenting a possible sexual assault was filed with Riley County Police, reportedly occurring in the city limits of Manhattan Wednesday at approximately 6:30 PM. RCPD reports this documentation outlines a past incident involving alcohol and inappropriate touching between two adults, including a male and female. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information has been released.
