It’s time to fall back one hour on Sunday. Daylight Savings Time will begin at 2 a.m. that day, so people are being encouraged to set back your clocks before you go to bed the night prior.
Riley County Fire Chief, Pat Collins also encourages local residents to put new batteries in their smoke detectors. Since this needs to be done twice every year, Collins said doing this during Daylight Savings Time every year is a great way to remember to do it.
