    Theft reported by Pottawatomie County Sheriff

    The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary and theft that occurred last weekend on  Saturday December 20th at Dick Edwards Ford, located at 7920 E Highway 24. The suspect in this matter reportedly gained entry into a building on the property and removed items to include a Dell laptop computer, a DeWalt AM/FM radio, a Cannon camera and other miscellaneous items.
    The suspect is also believed to have then taken a red Ford 2015 F-350 pickup and driving it less than 1/4 mile from where it was stolen, leaving it at another business.
    Sheriff Greg Riat indicatestThis crime occurred on the early morning of that Saturday, possibly around 5:30 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigations at the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at 785-457-3353.
