A Riley man has announced his candidacy for the position one seat in the USD 378 school board.
Glen Hawkins says his military background has taught him how to lead, and use resources efficiently to accomplish the mission. Hawkins says he will use his knowledge to guide the district forward, and provide insight into minimizing costs while providing a quality education.
Hawkins states his desire to support his community has led him to run for the office.
