Upon arrival, crews found a one-story residential structure with heavy fire showing throughout the structure. Crews were called to this same address one day earlier for a fire that heavily damaged the structure as well.
Due to the damage caused by the previous night’s fire, crews were not able to make entry into the structure, but were able to control the fire from a defensive position outside the structure.
The fire reached a second alarm before it was contained within 20 minutes. A total of 20 firefighters responded on seven fire apparatus.
The fire cause from the original fire was determined to be discarded fire place ashes. The cause of the second fire is still under investigation at this time.
