Manhattan City Commission Goal Setting Meeting

    0
By KMAN Staff on January 22, 2015 Local News

On Thursday afternoon the Manhattan City commission met for their annual goal setting leader’s retreat at the Flint Hills Discovery Center.  Commissioners and city staffers laid out some of the issues they believed should be the focus for the city.

Some of the topics the meeting brought forward included a deeper look into how the economic development fund is handled, and improving customer service elements within the various departments.

City Manager Ron Fehr says the staff will now process the current suggestions, and bring them before the commission for a few with a few more iterations, until the goals are finally formalized for the public.
